Day 8

Saint Fatima - Heliopolis - Cairo

Oh God, Sunday. I was so excited for it. Finally, the last day of this week's heavy tasks. I couldn't sleep because I was finalizing the paper. I sent it and contacted my supervisor to exchange some points of view. I should start working on the second draft. Nice. I am ready for it. After that, got ready for office. The same morning routine, shower, skincare routine, enjoying some music. I had my breakfast at office before moving to the 1st coverage which was a meeting with a US Embassy official about the Cairo Film Festival, after that, I met friends at the hotel where we gathered for the interview and covered the festival's press conference. The hotel was cool, its balcony's view is Nile. Just, imagine enjoying your afternoon by the Nile. Coooooool. 

After the conference, I returned back home in good spirits. Prayed, then made up my mind to attend the documentary about Samba and Jazz at the American University in Cairo as part of the Cairo Jazz Festival. I never attended a CJF event, so it is cool thing to do it during my 40-day journey. 

I watched the film. It was a cool experience, returned back home, and had my dinner with my brother, before finalizing this week's commitment by writing the coverage of the four events. Yeah, and time for a good and nice sleep and rest.
